About six acres at 9,659 feet, a mile north of Silver with no trail. Above treeline, no camping, and the first lake in the chain above camp.

Ten acres at 9,138 feet and the basecamp for the whole upper Fourmile. Two junctions, stay right at both, and camping that is better once you get out of the wind.

Ten miles and 3,500 feet up the Boulder drainage, with the camp sitting two miles below the lake. A historic cabin waits an hour up the trail.
