Getting there

Drive along West Rosebud Road heading toward the Mystic Lake Trailhead. Emerald Lake is located right off the side of the main driving route on your way to Mystic Lake, allowing you to drive directly to it.

The hike

There is no actual trail hike or elevation gain required to visit this destination. Because the road runs straight to the lake, you can pull your vehicle right up to the shoreline and walk straight out to the water's edge within a couple of minutes.
