Getting there

Drive along West Rosebud Road heading toward the Mystic Lake Trailhead. West Rosebud Lake is located right off the side of the main driving route, allowing you to navigate a standard vehicle directly to the water.

The hike

There is no actual trail hike, climbing, or elevation gain required to visit this destination. Because the road runs straight to the lake, you can pull your vehicle right up to the shoreline and take a quick walk straight out to the water's edge.
