Getting there
Drive along West Rosebud Road heading toward the Mystic Lake Trailhead. Reeves Lake is located directly off the side of the main driving route a couple miles before Mystic trailhead.
The hike
There is no actual trail hike required to explore this water stop. Because it sits right off the edge of the access road to Mystic Lake, you can simply pull over in a safe spot and take a brief two-minute walk straight to the shoreline.
Tips & safety
Shoreline Features: The water is full of lily pads, creating a distinct and picturesque alpine pond environment right next to the driving route.
Fishing: No official Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks data is listed for this lake, and the dense lily pad growth can make casting from the bank a bit tricky.
